SA:Six cars make Wheels final
A sports car with a hybrid engine is among the six finalists in the Wheels Car of the Year award.
The Honda CR-Z was first displayed as a concept car at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show and
has now arrived in Australia.
It's powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine and an electric motor that uses nickel-metal
hydride battery technology.
One of the judges, JAMES WHITBOURN, says the Honda is refreshingly pure and is an enjoyable car.
The other cars on the finalists list are the Audi A6, the Ford Focus, the Range Rover
Evoque, the Skoda Yeti and the Volkswagen Scirocco R.
The winner will be announced on January 18.
